im using a Dhiraagu Connection 512 Home user.

i had this same problem with my ISP (rol). But it after a while am able to log back in.
ya talking abt ROL they suck bigtime…..
there speed suck and thats not the only thing they block or limit the bandwidth.
torrent,,,,, ,p2p… etc…
What are you talking about? ROL might suck but not as bad as Dhiraagu. I use ROL Rf 645 package and have been using it for months and the only problem I had with it was when the submarine cables went down. The average download speed I have is around 55 to 60kb and I think that’s acceptable as my brother has a Dhiraagu Unlimited for almost the same price but which is rarely able to download at speeds faster than 40 or 45. Switch to ROL. The service is not much better but it feels to be the lesser of the two evils.
I use rapidshare by the way. No idea about torrents.
ROL blocks torrents. It would be great if they let this loose. I already get good connection speeds on ROL. If only they let torrents. And there is no legal basis for blocking torrents. All torrents are not illegal stuff.
ROL is headed by a bunch dinosaurs, from the prehistoric era.
and btw Rapidshare on ROL is great!
i hate dhiraagu as much as the next guy.
but this is not exactly dhiraagu’s falt but rapidshare’s. i use rol n i get the exact same message from their proxy server.
just happens when a request timeout after a few secs witout a response.
it usually works after a few mins. sometimes a few hrs.

BUT still ROL sucks…
you CAN get full speed on torrents with ROL. all you have to do is enable encryption on torrents and there you go. if you ask a ROL guy this is what they will tell you, because no bandwidth controlling software can identify encrypted connections as torrents or anything else. so they simply bypass it from their bandwidth control system.
Right.. ive been using rapidshare on Dhiraagu Connection. starting from 14th feb.. it gives me trouble. Can’t login to the website even. Haven’t checked it after. But when i get the connection.. it boasts around 200 to 250.. One reason why i am addicted to HDTV version of the movies and these series around..
I think Dhiraagu is being blocked by rapidshare.
dhiraagu or rol. just take the fuckin bastards to court if they block what u shud get.
I just installed the 512k unlimited home pack at my home and i’m downloading from RS at the speed 10-19 kb/s. wow great.ROL downloads at 50-60 kb/s.Fuck i should have put ROL without listening to others voices.
